BIRTHDAY DONUT TOWER + MY HEALTHY DISINFECTANT CLEANER RECIPE!

Um, one little quick question: What the hell are Nom Noms?? Oh my B, my daughter says they are NUM Noms. Sorry. Ok, even after looking at them, I cannot figure out what they are. She wants some for her B-Day which is quickly approaching and I haven’t yet shopped!

Also, she wants a DONUT TOWER for a cake!!! WWWHHHAAATTT! Yeeesss! That’s m’girl!!!! 😉

OK…I’m super stoked to tell you about my homemade “lysol” spray or general household disinfectant cleaner. I’ve been making this for a few years now! I use this spray to clean countertops, the toilet rim (and often the inside of the bowl!), mirrors, bathtub, kitchen sink, and anything else I want to disinfect. It’s super easy to make:

DIY ALL-PURPOSE DISINFECTANT CLEANER:

  • Rubbing Alcohol or Vodka
  • Water
  • Clary Sage Essential Oil (I recommend THIS brand: Plant Therapy)
  • Cedarwood Essential Oil (or THIS brand: NOW Brand)
  • Empty spray bottle

(I very much trust both of these companies listed above. I know they deliver a superior product without breaking the bank. Remember, I will NEVER recommend a specific brand unless I use it myself and believe in the product. On that note, I do NOT recommend Sun Essential Oils, like the one shown in the picture. I have not been at all pleased with those uber-cheap oils. :/ )

Directions:

Fill a spray bottle 1/3 of the way with rubbing alcohol (70%) or Vodka. (I use a 34 fl oz spray bottle.) Then, fill the remainder of the space in the bottle with water. Leave a bit of room at the top for adding essential oils. The amount of oils is up to you; I usually use about 10 drops of Clary Sage and 10 drops of Cedarwood.

Clean away, you little germaphobes!

XO!
